National Museum in Warsaw

Polish art.
During World War II this building was used to hide treasures from the Royal Castle of Warsaw. Today it stores and exhibits the treasures of the National Museum of Warsaw.
The museum is composed of seven permanent collections: the gallery of ancient art, the Faras Gallery and the Medieval art gallery unveiling history through the prism of Polish art. On the first and second floors are the areas reserved for Polish and European paintings, and a gallery of decorative arts.
Part of the National Museum overlooks the Vistula River and is home to the Museum of the Polish Army.
