Depeche Mode began back in 1977, a then-unknown group of students from London's East End.
Having outstripped The Cure in terms of commercial success and U2 in terms of their influence, they remain among the most influential bands of the past two decades. Depeche Mode's fan base remains rock solid; the group is respected by long time fans of electronic music, but also by the new generation. They demonstrate a respect for underground music yet manage to remain a commercial success.

The band members are highly talented musicians who manage to harness their energy as one; for some its a miracle they could remain a unit for so long. This may be explained by their brilliant ability to reinvent themselves while remaining loyal to their characteristic musical style.

Some may think that they have started to slow down, the members possibly considering going solo. Far from it, they are ready to knock your socks off. This world tour in 2013 is their opportunity to present their 13th album to their millions of fans.
